Anne Marie Chadwick has big dreams that are just out of her reach. The fatherless 18-year-old is up at the crack of dawn every morning to clean Maui motel rooms to help her mother and younger sister. She lives in a beach shack with three roommates who give her emotional support. 

She spends the rest of her time preparing to conquer the waves and count the days until the Pipe Masters surf competition.  A year earlier, Anne Marie had a nasty wipeout in this tournament that shook her to her core. Does she have the courage to go for her dream of winning and falling in love with a handsome pro Quarterback at the same time?

Fun Facts: After small parts in the fims: The Horse Whisperer" and "Remember The Titans" This was Kate Boswoth first lead role in a film.Her success  in "Blue Crush" led to starring roles in "Superman Return", "Win a date with Tad Hamilton" "21" "Beyond the Sea" and "Still Alice."

This was one of Michelle Rodriguez's early film roles. She would move on to the "Fast and the Furious" franchise and "S.W.A.T."

Director John Stockwell started his career as an actor starring with Tom Cruise in "Losing It" and "Top Gun".He also starred in the teen horror Classic "Christine."
