Based on the true story of the crash of Southern Airways Flight 932 a charter fight carrying Marshall University Football players, coaches, boosters and staff, who all lost their lives in a plane crash on November 14,1972, the 75 people who died made it the greatest disaster in college sports history. Matthew McConaughey plays Jack Lengyel, A young coach, who hears what had happened and wanted to rebuild the team. Matthew Fox plays Red Dawson, an assistant coach, who wasn’t on the plane and grapples with guilt that he is alive and everyone else is gone. This is uplifting story about sorrow and of a school, a town and its rebirth.
